Connecting Law, Tech and Public Policy

I am Xiaoli Jin (Sh-ao-lee Jee-ing). I write, code, and speak on podcasts.

A passionate explorer of law and technology, I co-founded the JURIST Digital Scholars Program, an incubator for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of law, policy and technology.

A freelance journalist, I published policy commentaries covering healthcare, economics, and immigration. Over 10,000 people responded to my articles and left more than 2,000 comments. My writings were also featured on peer-reviewed journals and publications affiliated with Yale, Columbia, and Cornell.

A software engineer, I believe in promoting civic engagement through programming. I created NewsElect, an iOS app that informs people about the political leanings of the news articles they read. I also developed an iOS for JURIST, a Weddy-winning legal news provider.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Middlebury College in 2019, with a double major in Political Science and Computer Science.

I am currently working at Keystone Strategy, a consulting firm serving the crossroads of economics, law, and technology.
